Warning light guide

Tire pressure warning

One or more tires may be underinflated, or the monitoring system may have a fault.

Prompt inspection

What it can mean

A solid light usually indicates pressure; a flashing-then-solid pattern often indicates a monitoring-system fault.

What to do next

  1. Slow down and inspect for visible tire damage.
  2. Measure cold pressure with a gauge and use the door-placard specification.
  3. Do not use the tire sidewall maximum as the normal target pressure.

Possible causes to test

  • Low tire pressure
  • Puncture or leak
  • Temperature-related pressure change
  • TPMS sensor or receiver fault
